The definition of Graphic Design can be referred to a number of artistic and professional disciplines which focus on visual communication and presentation. Various methods are used to create and combine symbols, images and or words to create a visual representation of ideas and messages. A graphic designer may use page layout, typography and visual arts techniques to produce the final work.

What are the uses of Graphic Design?

Some common uses of graphic design includes advertisements, magazines, product packaging and web design. For example product packaging could included a logo or other type of artwork, organized text and pure design elements such as colors and shapes that make up a piece. This could be best found in logos, business cards, letterheads or envelopes.
