The definition of Graphic Design can be referred to a number of artistic and professional disciplines which focus on visual communication and presentation. Various methods are used to create and combine symbols, images and or words to create a visual representation of ideas and messages. A graphic designer may use page layout, typography and visual arts techniques to produce the final work.
What are the uses of Graphic Design?
Some common uses of graphic design includes advertisements, magazines, product packaging and web design. For example product packaging could included a logo or other type of artwork, organized text and pure design elements such as colors and shapes that make up a piece. This could be best found in logos, business cards, letterheads or envelopes. |

Graphic Design is a complex and very detailed skill set. The understanding of the fundamentals as well as the methods that are used in this area of design are imperative to be effective. You can't just create a logo or layout. But you can add to much detail and make things look to busy and loose the interest of the ones that you are trying to attract.
